Football Agent Early Access Roadmap
Six to twelve months, leave when ready — planned work, price, and languages
Football Agent entered Steam Early Access on 25 August 2026. ATERO GAMES has framed that phase as a six-to-twelve-month stretch, not a countdown to a fixed calendar date. Version 1.0 is meant to leave Early Access when the game is ready. This page records the public plan: what the studio wants to add, how players are expected to talk back, how the introductory Steam price works, and which languages the client already speaks.
If you want a picture of the current build rather than the future list, start with the Early Access review and the getting started guide. Day-to-day mechanical changes live on the patch notes page.
How long Early Access lasts
The published window is six to twelve months from 25 August 2026. That range is a planning horizon. If database work, event variety, or balance passes take longer, the studio has said it would rather stay in Early Access than stamp 1.0 onto an unfinished product. If the build reaches the intended depth sooner, the opposite is also possible. Do not treat November, February, or any other month as a promised ship date.
That stance matters for how you spend money and time. Buy the current game because you want to play an agent career now, not because a 1.0 trailer is around the corner. Follow patches because they change development speed, transfer fees, and inbox language — not because they are secret countdown markers.
Planned work during Early Access
The items below are the public priorities. None of them is a dated milestone. They describe direction of travel.
A larger and richer player database
The current dataset already covers about 47,500 players, 115 leagues, 44 countries, and 1,900 clubs down to the third tier. The studio wants that pool to grow: more clubs, denser lower-league coverage, and richer national-team and youth records. Database work usually lands in batches, so expect incremental expansions rather than one giant dump.
More events and negotiation scenarios
Random events and multi-week negotiations are two of the systems that make an agent career feel alive. The plan is to add more event types and more negotiation branches so the same story does not repeat across seasons. Recent patches already cap monthly event volume and stop the same event from firing twice in a row. Later work is about variety, not only volume. See random events for how those beats currently fire.
Steam achievements
Achievements are listed as incomplete in Early Access. ATERO GAMES intends to finish the Steam achievement set for 1.0, covering career milestones such as a first sale, cup winners among your clients, and long-run agency growth.
Deeper balance
Balance is not a single slider. It covers playing-time promises, player development speed, transfer-fee caps, club spending that carries into the next season, mastery bonuses that actually grant client capacity, and relationship or motivation gestures that can no longer be pumped without limit by spending money. The economy and transfer market pages track how those rules behave after each patch.
Quality of life
Inbox language bugs, stuck tooltips, duplicate club names, and untranslated training-focus labels are the sort of friction Early Access exists to burn down. Quality-of-life work will continue as players report sharp edges. The 27 August 2026 translation and inbox pass is a sample of that work, not the last of it.
Extra languages if demand is there
The game already ships with a wide language set, listed below. Additional localisations are described as demand-driven: if a large enough community asks for a language, it can be considered. That is not a commitment to any extra locale.
Data and name-pack import
Community-made data packs and name packs are on the list. The idea is to let players import richer or more current datasets rather than waiting solely on official database drops. The player-facing import format has not been published as a finished specification yet.
Community channels
ATERO GAMES points players to two places:
- The Steam Community Hub for the app, where patch notes are posted and bug threads collect.
- Discord, for faster back-and-forth with other agents and with the studio when it is present.
Inside the game, Settings > Help > Bug Report remains the structured way to file a reproducible problem. Feature requests belong on the hub or Discord so other players can add detail rather than burying ideas in a private ticket.

Introductory price
Football Agent is priced at $11.99 on Steam. Until 4 September 2026 there is a 15 percent introductory discount, which brings the store price to $10.19. After Early Access, the price may rise. The discount is a window, not a permanent sale. If you are deciding whether to buy during that window, weigh the current feature set on the Early Access page rather than waiting for a 1.0 date that has not been fixed.
Languages
The in-game client supports English, Turkish, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Arabic, and Brazilian Portuguese. This wiki covers English, French, German, and Spanish. Translation patches in late August 2026 focused on inbox tags, training-focus options, club names in rumours, and a batch of social-feed strings that had been stuck in Turkish.
How to read this page
Roadmaps move. When a patch completes or changes an item above, the patch notes will show the mechanical detail, and this page will be updated to keep the high-level list honest. Do not treat any bullet as a patch you can put on a calendar. Treat it as the studio’s public priorities for the six-to-twelve-month Early Access stretch that began when Football Agent entered Steam Early Access on 25 August 2026.
If you are starting a save this week, follow the getting started walkthrough, keep an eye on patch notes after each Steam announcement, and bring concrete bug reports to the hub. That loop — play, report, patch — is what Early Access is built around.
